I have been fortunate to be the lead guitarist and backup vocals for the country band Matt Freedman & The Herd. We've opened for Miranda Lambert, Brett Young, multiple connections to the Nashville circuit and nothing but upwards and onwards for this amazing band and my dear personal friend Matt Freedman.

Leesta Vall "Direct to Vinyl" Series
Leesta Vall: We were thrilled to welcome Buck's County, PA's Matt Dorsey to our 2,858th Live Session. This session was available exclusively via preorder, which is now closed.Each of these 13 takes was cut directly to its own individual 7" vinyl record, and only one copy of each take exists in the world.
Rockwood Music Hall NYC
Matt recently participated and performed at the legendary Rockwood Music Hall in New York City in support of keeping this institution alive. Sara Bareilles, Chris Thile, and numerous other mainstream artists are involved in preserving RMH. It was an honor to be involved.

Music Tells A Story
DORSEA is the brand used by singer/songwriter Matt Dorsey in the numerous projects he is involved in regarding his musical adventures. Critics who have had access to the pre release content of his 2022 album have said it portrays the patience, focus, and artistry of the next generation of music. Between Studio A in Brooklyn and Breakneck Studios in PA, you can see the evolution and progression as an artist trying to pave his way in a sea of diverse music but still has the pop vibe to reach a larger audience. Matt was rooted in music from an early age with lineage tracing back to June Carter and Johnny Cash. Matt has opened for main stream artists such as Glen Philips from Toad the Wet Sprocket, to artists like Miranda Lambert and others. His new album release showcases his guitar playing as well as his lyrical progression as an artist. Hope you enjoy it later this year!!
